Our Story

Rentalistry was founded by a small team of property owners and software engineers who were tired of juggling spreadsheets, email threads, and disconnected apps to manage their rentals. We knew there had to be a better way.

We built Rentalistry from the ground up with one clear goal: give independent landlords a single, approachable platform that connects property setup, tenant records, leases, rent records, maintenance, and renewals.

We are a small business ourselves, and we build this product for small business owners. That means practical workflows, clear security controls, and a clean portal designed for everyday rental operations.

What We Stand For

🏠

Built for Small Landlords

Built for independent landlords managing approximately 1–20 properties. Practical tools support a single rental or a growing small portfolio without enterprise complexity.

Everything in One Place

From organizing properties and tenants to managing leases, rent records, inspections, documents, maintenance, and expenses, Rentalistry replaces scattered spreadsheets with one connected platform.

🔐

Secure & Private

Your data and your tenants' data stay private. We use encrypted sessions, email OTP multi-factor authentication, role-based access, and security activity logging without storing raw session-cookie values in activity logs.

🤝

Tenant-First Experience

A dedicated tenant portal can reduce scattered communication and make rental information easier to follow. Invited tenants can view rent and payment records, submit maintenance requests, access shared lease documents, and communicate with their landlord.
